Freshie’s Got Talent Show
Well done to all of the Freshwater students who prepared and participated in our Freshie’s Got Talent Auditions in Weeks 1 and 2. We were blown away by the amazing talent we have witnessed across the school from Years 1 to Year 6 and applaud the effort of all of the students who tried out. We would like to congratulate the following students for making it to the finals of our show and will be performing on stage for our school community on Friday 15th August at the Freshie Fete: The talent show begins at 4:00pm in the Junior Under Cover Area. We look forward to seeing you there!
Musical Group Performances at the Fete
Please save the date for the Freshie Fete!!! On Friday 15th August, all of our musical groups – Junior and Senior Choirs, Guitar Club, Junior and Senior Strings Ensembles, Beginner Band and Senior Concert Band students will be showcasing their learning ‘on stage’ at the Junior Under Cover Area. Our Music Captains will be the Master of Ceremonies. Please see the program of entertainment in this week’s newsletter for performance times. We are requesting all groups arrive at least 20 minutes prior to this time to tune, set and line up with their choral and instrumental teachers. If you are able to assist with supervision or the movement of equipment on and off stage, please let us know. An email was sent home to all families during the week regarding uniform requirements, meeting points and contact details.
